Parents are the primary influencers in the lives of their kids (Deut. 6:49; Ps. 78:18; Eph. 6:4),therefore it is paramount that we partner with parents in shaping kids to love God and love
others.
The main channels that we accomplish this through are:
1. Parent / teacher communication is conducted through registration and child pickup, phone calls, letters, or emails.
2. "Family God Time Calendars given each month to kids and/or parents that provide a means for going over Bible verses and engaging in spiritual conversations with kids."
3. Updates on parenting conferences via church bulletin, letters, or emails.

As a part of Crossroads Community Church, our Children’s Ministry is structured to facilitate life change in the context of community.
Just as adults participate in large group worship and small groups throughout the week, we want kids to participate in a similar structure.
This is seen on Sunday mornings from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm in our Children’s Ministry through two parts: small group time and large group time.
