Brady Traywick
Lead Pastor/Elder
Brady and his wife Christy moved to Austin the summer of 2006 to start a church in North Austin. In September 2007, Crossroads was born! Prior to Crossroads, Brady served the local church 12+ years in different capacities. Brady has Bible degrees from Hardin-Simmons University and Dallas Theological Seminary. The Traywick’s have three daughters: Lauren, Claire, and Ali. For fun, Brady likes to read, try new restaurants, travel (to the beach), and watch college football.
Andy Harvey
Worship Pastor
Andy leads Crossroads in worship weekly. Having led worship in the church since he was involved in collegiate ministry at Texas State University, he wholeheartedly accepted the opportunity to lead at Crossroads in 2007. Andy also teaches History at Hudson Bend Middle School in Lake Travis ISD. He and his wife Claire are proud parents of Savannah, who was born in 2008. When Andy is not leading worship or teaching school, he loves to write songs, tell jokes that are not funny, wakeboard, and bug his wife about letting him get a motorcycle.
David Pope
Elder
David is a native Texan and a graduate of The University of Texas School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant by profession and a husband and father by passion. He and his wife, Anne, and their three children enjoy playing outside and traveling as schedules permit. He has served as Chairman of the Elder Board since the start of Crossroads in September of 2007.Term: 2007 - 2011
Aaron Rhinehart
Elder
Aaron came to Austin in 1995 while he was in high school and pretty quickly fell in love with the people and climate he found here. After completing his education in Rochester, New York, he returned to Austin and met his beautiful wife, Robyn, through church and a mutual friend. They were married shortly after she graduated from Baylor in 2007. They have a son, Evan, who was born in 2008. Aaron currently works for Advanced Micro Devices and his hobbies include games of all types, making chain mail jewelry, and reading. He joined the Elder Board in January of 2009.Term: 2009 - 2012
Brad Peterson
Spiritual Formation Pastor
Brad has been serving with the local church in various capacities of ministry since the gospel changed his life in college. He met his wife, Stephanie, at Stephen F. Austin University and continued his education at Dallas Theological Seminary. Both Brad and Stephanie knew they wanted to serve with a church that was committed to reaching those who don’t know Christ which is what led them to Crossroads in August of 2008. Brad loves making his wife laugh, watching thought provoking and ridiculously humorous movies, a good cup of coffee and book to go with it.
Justin Moore
Youth Pastor
Justin began as Crossroads' Student Minister in November of 2009. He has been working as a Student Minister in Houston since 2003. He has a Christian Ministry degree from the College of Biblical Studies in Houston and is pursuing his Master's from DTS. Justin's desire is to partner with the parents of North Austin in order to raise up a generation of Missional Students. Justin's wife, Becky, is an Austin native with a deep love for this city. Justin and Becky's beautiful daughter, Emily, was born in 2007.
Shelley Kelso
Office Manager
Shelley joined the Crossroads team in April of 2008. An Austin native and University of Texas grad, Shelley is moved by a passion to see the people of Austin grow in their relationship with Christ. She believes wholeheartedly that Crossroads can help people connect with God and with each other. She spends her spare time reading, traveling and making new friends, or running for great causes.
Brad Butts
Elder - Chairman
Brad moved to Austin in 1988 after graduating from Kansas University. He married his wife Marina in 1990. Brad has worked in the full-time ministry for over 20 years. He is currently working on his Master’s degree in Marriage Counseling. He and his wife have a passion to advance God’s kingdom in Greater Austin, have three children, and enjoy going to the lake with family and friends. Term: 2010-2013
